Ecycling Events around Cincinnati, Ohio Next events: April 19, 2008- "Earth Day Computer Recycling"  in conjunction with Clermont County Clean and Green Cincinnati Computer Cooperative, will accept used equipment at two locations: Miami Township, 5900 McPicken Drive (near Interstate 275) and at Cincinnati Computer Cooperative's location, 49 Novner Drive in Woodlawn. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon. April 26,2008- Earth Day Computer recycling event at 49 Novner Drive in Woodlawn. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon.

Cincinnati Computer Cooperative co-sponsors computer recycling events with local governments, schools and community organizations around Greater Cincinnati.

An Ecycle event is a one day computer recycling event which diverts used computers from local land fills. Working computer components are reused or refurbished for local schools, nonprofits and those in need. Older computers and nonworking components are recycled. Hard drives are erased with a 3 pass DOD department of defense software or destroyed. In addition to erasing all personal software identification volunteers will remove all company identification stickers before the hardware is passed on.
