Cincinnati Computer Cooperative co-sponsors computer recycling events with local governments, schools and community organizations around Greater Cincinnati.

An Ecycle event is a one day computer recycling event which diverts used computers from local land fills. Working computer components are reused or refurbished for local schools, nonprofits and those in need. Older computers and nonworking components are recycled. Hard drives are erased with a 3 pass (DOD) department of defense compliant software or destroyed. In addition to erasing all personal software identification volunteers will remove all company identification stickers before the hardware is passed on.
