About Cincinnati Computer Reuse
Our Mission
Putting Your Used Computers Back to Work
We are committed to providing affordable technology to local nonprofits, schools and individuals and in reducing e-waste going to landfills.
What We Do
Keeping Usable Technology Out of Landfills
Donations: Cincinnati Computer Reuse accepts donations of computers and related equipment from local businesses. We assess each piece that comes in the door to determine if it is suitable for refurbishing, or if it will be recycled. Items which may contain personal information are stored securely while triaged. Data is erased onsite and packaged until shipment to our R2 certified recycler. This gives donors the assurance that their information will be thoroughly destroyed. Certificates of data destruction are provided on request.
Computer sales: Donated equipment that meets our quality standards (Windows 10 or Windows 11 capable) is run through our wiping/imaging process. The tests the internal components of the computer and loads a new, licensed, Windows operating system. Microsoft Office is also installed on computers that will be sold to individuals. Nonprofits and schools are not eligible computers with Microsoft Office software.
